Safety-led delivery
A structured approach to rope access safety
Work at height demands a disciplined approach.
At Evolve, safety is embedded into every stage of our rope access operations, from initial planning through to execution and review.
All work is planned and delivered in accordance with applicable legislation and recognised industry standards. Hazards and risk are systematically identified, assessed and controlled to protect our personnel, site personnel, members of the public, and our clients’ operations.
With over 25 years of industry experience, we provide practical, proportionate safety solutions that support reliable, compliant, and efficient delivery.
Ensuring safety at height
In 2024/25, falls from height accounted for over 25% of UK worker fatalities, reinforcing the importance of a structured and professional approach to work at height.
At Evolve, safety is embedded in how we plan and deliver every project. We establish and maintain a Safe System of Work (SSOW) through competent management, detailed planning, effective supervision, verified personnel competence, and the use of appropriate, well-maintained equipment.
This approach allows us to reduce risk, maintain compliance, and deliver work at height safely and consistently.

Planning and equipment safety
Effective planning and appropriate equipment selection are fundamental to safe rope access operations. At Evolve, both are treated as critical controls, not administrative tasks.
Planning approach:
Each project begins with a structured pre-start site assessment to identify access requirements, constraints, and site-specific hazards. From this, we develop task-specific risk assessments and method statements that define controls, responsibilities, and safe working practices.
Equipment selection and control:
Equipment selection is driven by the findings of the risk assessment and the demands of the task. All equipment is reviewed for suitability in relation to its intended use, user competence, working environment, and manufacturer instructions. This ensures equipment is appropriate, compliant, and correctly applied for each operation.
Nation-wide locations
Supporting inspection, maintenance and repair activities across the UK.
25 years’ experience
Depth of practical knowledge gained across commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments.
IRATA certified

Planned delivery
Work is planned and delivered with clear consideration of access, risk and live operations.
